With many supermarkets moving towards reducing the amount of food waste that they generate with food that they cannot sell, Co-op are trying a new approach. Two hours before closing time they will clear their shelves of items they cannot sell the next day and donate them to charity! It’s a great idea unless you rely on ‘yellow reduced stickers’ to make your weekly budget balance!
